Perhaps it’s because 90 minutes is the optimum time the human brain can work at a high frequency?
Maybe that’s why extra time and penalties cause the English team so many problems? ⚽️
It’s the same with business…
Clients are vitally important to any business BUT…
… you need to find a way of freeing up some time to work ON the things which will help GROW your business too.
It can be hard.
But our clients that spend 90 minutes a day, everyday, really get the results they’re looking for.
When you work it out that’s 30 hours a month ( and think what you could do with 30 hours???)
What’s the most important thing you need to do for your business to be successful?
Spend your 90 minutes doing that!
4 rules that will make those 90 minutes really effective for you are…
- Make sure you got the right environment for your workspace (the phones are off, the emails are off)
- No interruptions. I know Nigel Botterill puts a sign on the door saying do not disturb unless the building is on fire. I’ve managed to persuade Sally to respect that as well. If I can do that you can too
- Make sure you’ve got a concrete goal, a clear plan of what you’re going to do in these 90 minutes .
- Prioritise your list . Have two lists an A and a B list. A is your needs, B is your client’s needs.
Try it. It’ll help you grow your business a little more every day – some days you’ll take BIG steps.
Make sure that you’re working on YOUR needs as the business owner as well as your client’s needs.
You’re important too!
Kevin
P.S. Come on England – let’s avoid a penalty shootout this year. Finish it off in the 90 minutes!!
